Hi Jonny

On BBC 4's Ramblings yesterday,I really enjoyed your witty 'Blue Butterfly Blues' (from the ants' point of view !).

Have you ever written a song about drinking water fluoridation, please ? The latest scientific evidence in USA and S. Ireland, that it doesn't make teeth better but actually makes them worse (fluorosis) is ignored by the health authorities and dentists who promote it.

Here in the Southampton area, a CONsultation was held, costing £400,000 of NHS cash. 72% locals voted against, inspite of the pro propaganda .Our Strategic Health Authority (in Reading) is still going ahead, although they should be axed next year !

H.A.F. took a petition with 15,300 names to number 10 in 2009 but that was ignored too.On the streets we reckoned 95% were in favour of us.They still are, for our present petition to get So'ton council to debate F'n again.

We aren't paid ; have no axe to grind.Just want to keep this grade 2 poison out of our drinking water !

If you don't already have the true facts, please look on the websites: F.A.N. or our own.

If then, you would like to contribute a song or other ideas, we would be very grateful.

Thankyou Jonny.Wish I could get to Edinburgh !

Hi Jonny

Saw you today on the Ancestor's Trail in the Quantocks and thought you were simply fantastic! Hilarious and thoughtful all at the same time. Excellent musicianship and lovely voice too (bit saucy, which made me guffaw all the more)

All the very best
